About Grizzly Club Preschool
The Grizzly Club Preschool is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children ages 3 to 5.
The program provides experiences that enrich each child's cognitive, language, social, physical and creative development. Our center is structured in such a way that each child has the opportunity to create, explore and learn personal interaction and problem solving skills all within a caring and nurturing environment. Our teaching staff are content specialists, enabling each student to receive daily instruction from teachers who have a specific curriculum focus. We stress self-esteem, sharing and having fun while we learn and grow through a balance of self-directed and teacher-directed activities.
We also recognize the importance of physical exercise and large motor activity play in the proper development of a young child. Therefore, on a regular basis we offer a variety of movement activities in our "Big Room" located in the large fellowship hall within our facility for more safe and secure year-round play.
Our staff serve as positive role models and provide care that is supportive and responsive to each child's individual needs. In essence, we are committed to teaching and training the whole child.
Our classes are divided in such way that we have the most educationaly effective classes possible. Our threes classes are designed to teach the student how to be at school and begins to build the indepenence necessary for life-long success while introducing the content required for kindergarten. All of our fours and fives classes continue the work begun in threes and prepare the student for a successful transition to kindergarten with a love of learning and and an enthusiasm for school.
Grizzly Club Preschool is state licensed through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The GCP license is posted in the preschool office. GCP does not discriminate in the enrollment of children upon the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.

For children who are 4-5 years old and may attend kindergarten in the Fall

T-Th 9:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
5 Year Old Classes
5 years old by December 31st and WILL attend kindergarten in the Fall
